Branding and website for a new Independent Sussex butchery
and farm shop offering locally sourced conservation produce

  • Client: Garlic Wood Farm
  • Date: November, 2012
  • Location: Brighton (UK)

BRIEF: Create a clean and simple logo, then develop themed marketing materials and an e-commerce website

The farm land purchased to raise livestock for the store included a wodded area filled with garlic plants and bluebells. The earthy pastel tones of the land formed the basis of a colour palette with a few simple animal silhouettes making up the basic logo. A Georgia Bold font was chosen to add a sense of stature to the logo and was perfect for signage and print, as well as the website.

Once the brand and colour scheme were comnfirmed, business cards, shop signage, hesian bags and flyers were produced in the same style. Social Media channels were also created to promote the business and build a following.
