Digital publishing design for a new magazine for
the Long Drive World Series Golf Tournament

BRIEF: Design and produce a 48 page introductory magazine for the LDWS with news, features articles and player profiles

With popularity in this off-shoot of golf gaining momentum, the tour operators wanted a magazine to be distributed at each event, as well as digitally via the Issuu platform. With limited photography of the players available, colour and the use of infographics played a big part in the overall design.

Player profiles were designed big and bold, the cover star feature used a clean grid design system and infographics were added throughout to illustrate content rather than just leaving reams of text. News pages were kept light and the cover used minimal but bold copy, with a basic logo created with the idea it could change colour each issue.
